Vera-Dose Hub - Smart Medicine Box Interface

The Vera-Dose Hub is a healthcare interface concept designed for a smart medicine box that helps elderly users manage their medications safely and independently. The project focuses on creating a simple, accessible, and user-friendly experience for individuals who may have limited technical familiarity or face visual and cognitive challenges.

By prioritizing clarity, intuitive navigation, and clear reminders, the interface aims to reduce medication errors and support consistent medication adherence. Through this project, I explored how thoughtful UI/UX design can improve everyday healthcare interactions and empower users to maintain greater independence in managing their health.

Reflection

Working on Vera-Dose Hub helped me better understand the importance of designing for accessibility and real-world user needs. Designing for elderly users required careful consideration of readability, interaction simplicity, and clear information hierarchy. This project allowed me to think beyond visual aesthetics and focus on creating an interface that prioritises usability and trust. Through research, user flow planning, and interface design, I gained valuable experience in developing solutions that balance functionality with empathy in healthcare design.
