Nike Mercurial - Social Media Campaign

Nike Mercurial is one of the most iconic football boot lines ever made. This project is a full social media motion campaign - built from scratch - covering brand research, visual identity guidelines, and original motion ad design for the Mercurial launch.

Starting with a deep brand audit across Nike's target audience, competitor landscape, voice and tone, and visual identity, I built a creative framework channelling the raw aggression and speed the Mercurial is built for.

The final output: two motion ads in landscape (1920×1080) and portrait (1080×1920) format, scripted through storyboards and refined via style frames - ready for Instagram and digital out-of-home placement.

Reflection

The Nike Mercurial motion campaign successfully translates the brand's bold, fearless energy into a high-impact digital format. By grounding every motion design decision in thorough brand strategy - from the Futura Condensed type treatment to the rapid-cut Nike logo animation - the final ads feel unmistakably Nike. Designed to cut through the noise of the social feed and drive action, this project proved that great motion work starts long before the timeline opens.
